Summer Blues - 5 Fun Things You Can Still Do in September

The summer sun is starting to wane, students are heading back to school, and the nights are getting just a touch colder, which can only mean one thing: It’s the end of August.

While the month of August still has plenty worth celebrating, like the end-of-summer barbecues, the time spent with friends at the beach, and the last remaining vestiges of summer vacation, it can also bring the Summer Blues.

The Summer Blues is this feeling of anxiety and panic summer-lovers experience when summer is coming to a close. The beginning of the school year can often feel like it marks the end of fun, but there are still opportunities around the city for good times with friends and family.

Here are 5 things you can do in September to fight those Summer Blues:

August 16 - September 2
A popular end-of-summer ritual, the Canadian National Exhibition offers a wide variety of interactive experiences, classic fair foods and kooky exhibitions.

#4: Elevate Toronto

Finish the month of September with this three-day festival and enjoy the wonders of Bavarian culture with delicious food, drinks and music.
